LinkedIn Review (2025): Pricing, Pros & Cons

Would not recommend it. I reported an active case of intimate partner harassment to this platform and they did nothing. Their moderation policies are super lackluster, and quite literally an email came from their staff telling me their policies are applied equally and fairly that’s just not true. This platform allows harassment to take place. Violent threats of ‘war’ from a former intimate partner came through to my LinkedIn, LinkedIn was shown these messages clear as day and opted to do nothing about it permitting the user to remain. I’ve taken my business elsewhere. And as a C-Suite executive, this is utterly unbelievable from a platform like LinkedIn honestly. I’ve removed all professional associations and much of myself from their platform because I simply will not support a platform that allows this to happen. Not to mention they have idk how many fake profiles of my business and organizations are on their platform but after 2 years of reporting they still have largely ignored that also. Not a good look at all for Linkedin I expected way *way* better from this platform.Show more

2 Stars because the BBB works – bless them!Kept locking my account, gave me no way to contact, sent Drivers License to validate – immediately after – 1 hr – they sent response that my account was permanently suspended. No reason given. I had been a LinkedIn Premium customer with over 7000 connections previously. Naturally I was adding dozens of connections I had known in the past immediately upon rejoining – Locked me out and treated me like a criminal with NO COMMUNICATIONS WHAT SO EVER SAVE WAVING AROUND VAGUE AND NEBULIOUS COMMUNITY STANDARDS VIOLATIONS ON REJECTING MY LEGAL/VALIDATION CREDENTIALS! No way to speak with anyone – at $60+ a month a phone / help desk and an email for communications is a bare minimum – shocking disrespect for customers. Once locked out of account you can’t do anything – can’t issue trouble ticket, nothing – no means to communicate! Shocking and I am telling as many people I can about their brazen disrespect for their customers! Can’t say anything good about the company ZERO!Miracles do happen…I logged a complaint with the BBB. I received a note from LinkedIn stating my account was restored. At the same time I received a note from the BBB stating the vendor (LinkedIn) had proposed a resolution to my complaint. (AMAZING)! I will modify my rating to 2 stars but it is “unfortunate” that I had to go public to get someone within LinkedIn to communicate with me.Show more

Linkedin.com is designed to be a professional networking site. I want to be on LinkedIn showing a clear purpose. That is to help my charity grow in terms of referrals . It is not just about my personal . growth . I prefer not to announce positive news of achieving milestones.I feel it is irrelevant to mention. I want to show the fantastic work I achieve for people and inspire others to join. All my posts are done to encourage participation in the projects not to talk about my achievements. I feel disheartened that I am not achieving what I want to set out to do. So many gossip and brag. I am very sick of hearing it. That receives plenty of likes and comments. I feel let down. The question that needs to be asked is LinkedIn achieving its purpose? From my experience it is not. I would like to meet people and help others to grow not just myself. LinkedIn has diverted from its purpose. It has become a bragging and gossip culture about yourself. Not about helping others . People are bringing personal matters to the site, that are irrelevant. It needs to change and re-thinked on turning toward a purposeful networking site where organisations grow not just individuals.Show more

If you’re a corporate suck-up, this is your favorite site. For real people, with real emotions and needs, then this site isn’t for you.Moderation is a joke, and bigotry runs rampant.

Worst job portal to use i have started using esyconnect.com much better result and no charges , easy to use
