MalCare Review (2024): Pricing, Pros & Cons

The initial Malcare install wasn’t able to fix the issue. The Security Scan removed the Malware but the Wordpress website wasn’t showing, it was just a blank page. I contacted the Support Team who replied and fixed the issue very quickly. Would definitely recommend their services and now I have peace of mind. Nothing to dislike at the moment. Very happy. A Malware attack

Support for virus removal is relatively fast and good. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with Malcare regarding the limitations of their plans that were not very explicit to their consumers.

If you’re willing to sign up for a 1-year plan and add 10 sites, for example, and keep those 10 sites there permanently, that’s fine. However, if you want to add and remove websites (Virusdie allows you to do this) without any restrictions, Malcare is not for you.

I have regular clients, but some are occasional. I contracted the 10-site plan and had 9 fixed sites there. I used this “slot” that was left over for any other customers. At one point, I tried to add a website and the message appeared saying that I had reached the limit, even though I had 9 websites on the platform and I had 1 “slot” left to use.

Now, after 20 days, I’m trying to get a refund, which I’ve been told won’t be possible.

Again: if you want to hire for fixed sites, OK. But if you want the right to add or remove sites from your account as you please, Malcare is not for you. It helped me remove viruses from some WordPress sites.

Found malware and link injection malware that other security plugins couldn’t. The scanner initially didn’t pick up the malware, but support is good and the scanner picked up on it on the next run. Id recommend this plugin to anyone wanting a good security plugin for Wordpress. Nothing, It scanned and got rid of the security issues; support is super quick and responsive. They completly “unhacked” my website which was severely hacked. I couldn’t even use the website admin to install the plugin, so I contacted support and they did everything for me. Excellent plugin and support.

I had some malicious redirects on 2 websites and Malcare (pro version) has been able to fix the issue. Nothing so far. It does what it’s intended to It takes care of removing malicious files and scripts on websites

Having been using WordPress for more than 10 years, I Would say Malcare is the best I had used so far. It just works with excellent support.

Like the Malware Scanner function.

Like the Malware Removal function.

Like the Vulnerability Scanner function.

Like the Backup with Staging function.

Like the WordPress Manage function. The activity log needs some improvement. I use a couple of security solutions to protect clients’ websites. Malware able to discover some malware that wasn’t found by other security solutions. I help me remove malware easily.

The backup function is a huge bonus and the WordPress Manage function is way better than another service provider.
