I tried to order a vps here because they claim to offer paypal as a payment method, and that its possible to cancel the service at any given time when its not needed anymore.On their website they state the following:”No paper fuss, no agreement signing: just pay the subscription and use our services when you need them. If you don’t need our solution anymore, just stop paying for it. We don’t charge any cancellation fees and do not require any preliminary notification.”I tried to order a vps and tried to pay with paypal but it would only work in case of a prolonged subscription , which is not what i was looking for so i emailed host-world and told them to cancel my order and delete my account.They cancelled the order but they refuse to delete my account which is a clear violation of GDPR article 17.There is no need for them to keep my data since no services were delivered and no payments were made.All with all this has been a horrible experience so i will give them a one star rating. I would not have posted this if they would have just cancelled the order and deleted my account but they refuse and that makes me angry and makes me write this. I hope they will delete my account soon otherwise i will leave another one start rating on google.By the way all the five star ratings on their own website is just a fraud. I am sure that if i post a bad review there they won’t post it on their website. Its all just marketing BS so be aware.
