LinkedIn Review (2024): Pricing, Pros & Cons

I found a job here 3 times before. Very nice platform. People can find the job they are looking for.

LOCKED OUT OF MY ACCOUNT LOSING OVER 500 CONTACTS. NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT, NO NOTHING. WORST COMPANY EVER. HEY LINKEDIN, DON’T FUDGING SCALE INTO A MONOPOLY LIKE FACEBOOK THE P**CKS IF YOU CANT SUPPORT YOUR CUSTOMERS. JUST THE WORST, SAME AS INSTAGRAM, FACEBOOK, GOOGLE, APPLE, META AND WHATEVER ELSE ST**ID MONOPOLIES ARE DOING STU**D THINGS. LOSERS, FAILURES.

Ironically very unprofessional. Someone using illegal work practices to hire staff, and therefore shouldn’t be posting on linkedin, messaged me rude and abusive messages criticising my national origin. Reported to linkedin and within minutes they said a member of their team reviewed the report and found it didn’t go against their guidelines. There’s no way they actually reviewed it that fast. Very disappointing.

In general I’m not a fan of social media. Since recently I have been using LinkedIN to find jobs, companies, people etc and it’s very comprehensive and easy to find information once you know how it works and also that is pretty intuitive. Since this week I have LinkedIN premium and it provides me with a lot of statistics about companies, jobs etc that I didn’t even know they had. It’s really quite useful if you want to find the right company to work for. And also, it’s the only platform that you need for this; I have checked a bunch of other vacancy sites but all the relevant jobs are listed on LinkedIN so I’m now just using LinkedIN

I get logged out of my account every few seconds for no reason and have to do a security verification every time I want to log back in (then get logged out again after seconds.)Customer support is hard to reach even though I pay premium for this. When they reply, it’s generic answers like “delete your cookies” or “try an incognito browser tab.”;If you’re doing business via LinkedIn (what the platform is for) – this stupid behavior costs you a ton of money.You don’t even get an explanation for what is happening.The platform itself is cool but things like that completely kill the experience.
